Patrick Rome is the Founder/Inventor and CEO of Electroreel LLC. Patrick founded Electroreel in August 1994.

Prior to creating Electroreel, Patrick earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kansas. Since 2018, Patrick has also served as the President of the El Paso County Sheriff's Posse. The El Paso Sheriff's Posse has remained in the forefront in civic and community programs in the El Paso region and will continue to be the “Keepers of The Old West Traditions of the Southwest.”

Patrick has earned several global patents for his inventions, including one patent on component carrier reel splicing tape and another on cinching and bundling ties. In addition, Patrick also serves as the CEO of CinchStrip and Advanced Paperworks. Patrick was also the owner of Oil Alley Inc in Garden City, Kansas.
